What I do
I work across networks, systems and IT operations, keeping applications and infrastructure reliable for the people who depend on them. My day-to-day work includes investigating incidents, reading logs, supporting users, maintaining systems and connecting the details between applications, services and the underlying infrastructure.
I enjoy the practical side of operations: understanding how a system behaves, finding the real cause of a problem and leaving things a little more stable and repeatable than I found them.
Where I am headed
I am building toward a career in systems administration and DevOps. I want to deepen my skills in Linux, networking, automation, infrastructure as code and observability, while becoming the kind of engineer who can improve both the technology and the way teams operate it.
This site is where I document that progress through practical notes, troubleshooting stories and experiments.
